If you would like to make a donation to the Berkeley Old Time Music Convention online, and don't care whether it is tax-deductible, you can do so via PayPal; the account belongs to BOTMC director Suzy (Susan) Thompson, and 100% of what comes into this account goes to the BOTMC.  To make an online donation, click the Donate button:

 

 

If you want your donation to be tax-deductible, the simplest way is to send a check, made payable to "Freight & Salvage" with a notation on the check saying "For BOTMC" and a note enclosed that says that your donation is earmarked for the BOTMC.  Send your check to:

Right now, there is no simple way to make a tax-deductible donation online.  We are working on this!  You can try following the directions below but the process is kind of convoluted.....

First, please go to the Freight & Salvage’s donation page:

Where it says "I would like to contribute the following amount", select a range.  Then, fill in the amount of your donation on the line below.

Where it says "Please use this option to donate in honor or memory of someone, or make your donation anonymous. If applicable, please list the name in the second box."

For the first box, choose "In Honor Of"

For the second box, write in "For the BOTMC"

In the comments box, please write, "My donation is earmarked for the BOTMC"

Then Press the "Donate Now" button and you'll be taken to the "Shopping Cart".  Check to see that the amount of your donation is listed correctly, then press "Check Out" and you'll be asked to Log In to your Freight account (if you've bought tickets from them online, you have one) or to create an Account if you don't already have one.  Once you've done that, you'll be asked for payment info.

 

You will receive an acknowledgment letter or email from the Freight that you can use for tax purposes.

 

Please consider making a donation to the Freight & Salvage as well.  They are undergoing very difficult  times, having been closed from March 2020 until September 2021. The BOTMC greatly appreciates all the Freight does for us as our fiscal sponsor.
